💚 Rally Privacy Policy

Rally ("we", "our", or "us") is a care coordination app that helps people organise support for someone in need. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Your email address, used to sign in via a one-time code.
• Profile information: Your display name, which you provide when joining a care circle.
• Task and circle data: Tasks you create, claim, or complete within a care circle.
• Device information: Push notification token (if you enable notifications), used only to send you relevant alerts.
• Calendar data: If you connect Google Calendar, we access only the calendar you authorise to create task reminders. We do not read your existing events.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Rally service.
• To send notifications about tasks you are involved in.
• To sync tasks to your calendar (only if you choose to connect it).
• To process subscription payments securely via Stripe.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Our database and authentication provider (hosted in Sydney, Australia).
• Stripe: Payment processing for Rally Pro subscriptions.
• Expo / Firebase: Push notification delivery.
• Google: If you connect Google Calendar.

Other members of your care circle can see your display name and the tasks you claim or complete. They cannot see your email address.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data — including your profile, tasks you created, and membership records — is permanently deleted within 30 days.

5. Your Rights

• Access: You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.
• Deletion: You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. This permanently removes all your data.
• Correction: You can update your display name from within the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Rally is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security on our database to protect your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
